Hispanic Heritage Night (following short PTA General Meeting)

ATTENTION! Start time change to 5:45!

Join us on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at 5:45 PM for our first (very brief) general PTA meeting as we celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month (observed September 15-October 15). This family event will include a performance by our Hogg MS Jazz Band and Ballet Folklorico Dance Company, Grupo Zapata!   Special thanks to Ms. Ozanic for inviting local artist, Mr. Rolando De La Garza, known professionally as Reverend Butter for the way he cuts through ice (“like it’s butter,” he says) to perform a live ice sculpting!

Together we will travel through Latin American to learn about the diverse cultures and extensive histories of our Latin American community through live art and crafts.  Your taste buds will dance after sampling homemade salsas submitted by our Hogg community for our 2nd Annual Salsa Competition judged by our Culinary Art students.

Thank you to everyone who has signed up to be a part of this event and its success!   Our final committee meeting will be on September 12 at 4:15pm in the library.  We are still in need of volunteers for:
